  1. 01

    Cash position

For this rolling cashflow, states opening cash and forecast period.

    Review first

    Criteria

    • States opening cash with the bank-statement date it was read from.
    • Names the lowest projected balance, its week, and how many weeks of cover the minimum-cash floor buys.
    • Shows closing cash for week 13 separately from opening cash.

    • Follows Weekly cash movements

    Sample content

    Opening cash on Oct 5
    $18,400
    13-week lowest projected balance
    $9,200
    Projected Dec 28 closing balance
    $24,100
  2. 02

    Weekly cash movements

For this rolling cashflow, shows dated inflows, outflows, and closing balance.

    Review first

    Criteria

    • Every inflow and outflow sits in the week cash actually moves, not the invoice week.
    • Inflows are split by source with a collection-lag assumption such as paid within three days of service.
    • Supplier outflows use contract terms, so net-30 shows the payment date rather than the invoice date.
    • Each week closes with a balance that becomes next week opening.

    Manual

    Criteria

    • States the minimum-cash trigger in dollars, the reason for that figure, and who decides.
    • Each commitment shows amount, due date, the document the date comes from, and an owner.
    • Essential spend (payroll, supplier) is separated from deferrable spend such as tools.

    Forecast checks

    Review first

    Criteria

    • Each closed week shows forecast, actual and the dollar variance with a cause.
    • Flags any week where actual closing cash fell below the floor.
    • A variance over $1,000 or 10% of the week triggers a named reforecast of remaining weeks.
